Women directors

The number of female directorships in the FTSE 100 top companies has passed the 100 mark for the first time, according to research by the Cranfield School of Management's Centre for Developing Women Business Leaders. The number of female directorships is up by 20% this year to 101, an increase from 84 in 2002. Women still account for just one in 12 of all FTSE 100 directors, and 32 of the top companies still have no women directors at all.
