Hazards Conference

The 24th National Hazards Conference is to held on 19-21 July at the University of Keele, Stoke-on-Trent.

The Hazards Campaign says the annual gathering comes as “the effect of the government’s deadly attack on health and safety are now being felt in the workplaces”.

Union safety reps and activists are urged to attend the conference. It is now crucial to fight back as the coalition government cuts away the employment and safety protections “won by collective action over generations”.

There will, as usual, be a mixture of plenary sessions, debates, meetings, and a comprehensive workshop programme, give opportunities to learn, exchange experience and information with delegates from a wide range of sectors and jobs.
