Union input across EU

The contribution that trade unions are making throughout Europe to the success of skills initiatives are highlighted in a new report from the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC).

The ETUC launched a project in 2013 to identify the traits that trade unions share for establishing quality apprenticeships in Europe and to situate the institution of apprenticeship within the wider context of education and training provision for young people as they prepare to enter the labour market. The TUC’s learning and skills arm, Unionlearn, provided a back-up study.
