Community at TNT

The Community union has been targeting specialist mail and delivery company TNT Post for a major organising effort, with some success.

The union has recruited the majority of new posties taken on by the company, elected reps and formed a new branch for “end-to-end” delivery (known as E2E) and “sortation” members in London.

As well as negotiating pay rises, the union has also resolved other issues, such as zero-hour contracts and overtime rates, and has got agreement for paid release of all reps in E2E and sortation depots for the union’s education programme.
