How to create violence-free workplaces


A European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) report showcases how unions have used collective bargaining, union awareness-raising and campaigns, and partnership with women’s organisations to prevent, manage and eliminate workplace harassment and violence against women. 


Safe at home, safe at work draws together evidence collected from interviews carried out as part of 11 detailed country case studies of European developments on gender-based violence and harassment and violence at work. 


It highlights good practice in the workplace and demonstrates the added value of trade union action, innovation and negotiations to support victims and create workplaces free from violence and harassment.
