Steven Parsons

The family of Steven Parsons have created an informative website in his memory. Steven was just 18 when he was killed at work on 7 March 2000. He was a trainee mechanic at Truckraft Ltd. He was working under a 16 ton fairground lorry when it fell onto his head and torso, killing him instantly.

The website includes details of the inquest and court case. Although the investigation found "unsafe and reckless" practices, the firm was fined just £14,000 and the owner given a 12 month conditional discharge.
